Acclimatisation first
Every expedition is planned around a proper acclimatisation ladder: valley hikes, then a 5,000 m objective, then the summit attempt.
Equipment and ratios
Technical routes run at 1:1 or 1:2 guide ratios. Boots, crampons, axes, harnesses and high-altitude tents can be provided from Huaraz.
Glacier conditions
Conditions in the Blanca change fast. We check routes in person and adjust objectives rather than push a fixed programme.
